We are a centre for the work based training program of the Biodynamic Agricultural College, a satellite of the Biodynamic Association. This training is similar to an apprenticeship, where learners work alongside skilled practitioners in order to learn how to become a biodynamic farmer or gardener.
The practical skills and knowledge needed are further deepened and taught in block seminars in autumn and spring. The training takes at least two years to complete. We require that applicants- learners join our community as co-workers.
At the end of the training and on presentation of a successful portfolio the applicants are awarded the Crossfields Institute Level 3 Diploma in Biodynamic Farming and Gardening (an Ofqual regulated qualification).
