The wafting aroma of freshly baked bread is one of the first things to strike you as you enter our shop in the mornings. This is the pleasure of our bakery being a central feature of our new Farm Shop.
Started in 1985 to supply bread to our Community and to provide suitable work to a number of our Community members, our bakery has remained as a humble but much valued work-place. Our extensive range of artisan breads, cereals, and biscuits is now sold mainly through our Farm Shop but can also be found in selected local outlets.
We use predominantly organic ingredients and all our products are hand made using traditional methods. Our bakers are passionate about what they do and are always appreciative of their direct connection with their consumers.
We bake some breads every day, some we bake only on certain days or are made on order.

Crusty and light.
Based on a quick, non-kneaded dough with a rich mix of seeds, honey & oil. Makes great toast!
Similar to honeyseed but without the honey and kneaded into a closer textured loaf.
A classic, crusty, country loaf leavened with a sourdough starter and a touch of yeast.
A slow risen, pure sourdough … beautifully crusted with a classic, continental open-crumb texture!
Also a slow risen sourdough but containing cracked whole wheat, sunflower & linseed.
A dark, tasty loaf made using spelt flour, sourdough starter, yeast and black treacle.
