Within a year of Loch Arthur being set up, an association of Friends was formed and has grown by leaps and bounds ever since. The Friends work very closely with the community, but it is a two way link. There are several members drawn from the Community on the Friends’ committee, while a former chairman of the Friends serves as Chairman of Trustees of the LACC
These are the formal links but there are regular and varied links of mutual friendship and working together.
When I join the Friends, what can I do to help?
- Make known to your local community, the purposes and achievements of LACC.
- Raise funds to benefit LACC.
- Help and support the Friends committee at the events it organises.
- Help and encourage your Friends to become Friends too.
